Bass Canyon

While Bass Canyon isn’t exactly in Spokane, it is well worth the couple hour drive to The Gorge in George, Washington. Bass Canyon is a 3-day electronic music festival taking place on August 20th through 22nd. The festival features an unbelievable lineup including Excision, Illenium, ATLiens, Liquid Strangers, Subtronics, and more. The breathtaking views of the Columbia River and Pacific Northwest scenery create the perfect live music getaway. The nature is pristine, but the performers are definitely the highlight. Tickets are still on sale, but based off of many music festivals this year selling out, we suggest you act fast. Visit Bass Canyon’s website for more information.
The Dope Show
Aug. 22; Sept. 26; Oct. 24; Nov. 14
The Spokane Comedy Club is a great place to head after a visit to Kush21. They showcase a variety of comedians and host different events every week, but there’s one specific show we recommend you check out— The Dope Show. This showcase features comedians that, “joke, then toke, then joke some more.” Comedian Tyler Smith hosts the show and brings with him nationally touring comedians that have different levels of sensitivity to cannabis. According to their website, “Some will power through! Some will have panic attacks! But everyone will have a kush experience!”
